Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Bua Thai Massage. By accessing our website, booking our services, or visiting our facility, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. Please read these terms carefully before booking an appointment.

Services Provided

Bua Thai Massage provides professional massage therapy services, including but not limited to:

  • Traditional Thai Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Couples Massage
  • Hot Stone Massage
  • Thai Combination Massage
  • Head, Neck & Scalp Massage
  • Aromatherapy Massage

All services are provided by licensed and professionally trained massage therapists. Our services are intended for therapeutic relaxation, stress relief, and wellness purposes only.

We are a legitimate therapeutic massage business. We do not provide, nor will we tolerate requests for, any services of a sexual nature. Any such requests will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and permanent ban from our facility.

Booking and Appointments

Appointment Booking

Appointments can be made:

  • Online through our website booking system
  • By phone at (725) 300-7076
  • In person at our location (subject to availability)

Appointment Confirmation

All appointments are subject to confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email or text message once your booking is confirmed. Please verify all details in the confirmation.

Arrival Time

We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to:

  • Complete any necessary intake forms
  • Discuss your preferences and health considerations with your therapist
  • Use restroom facilities and prepare for your session
  • Allow yourself time to relax before your treatment begins

Late arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, your session will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid delays for other clients. You will be charged the full session fee.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules change. To avoid cancellation fees, we require at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • More than 24 hours notice: No charge. Full refund or credit.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of service fee charged.
  • No-show or same-day cancellation: 100% of service fee charged.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule your appointment:

Cancellations must be acknowledged by our staff to be considered valid. We recommend calling for same-day cancellations to ensure your cancellation is processed.

Repeated No-Shows

Clients with two or more no-shows may be required to provide credit card information or prepay for future appointments.

Payment and Pricing

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Gift cards and gift certificates

Pricing

Current pricing is available on our Pricing page. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price quoted at the time of booking will be honored for that appointment.

Gratuity

Gratuity for your therapist is not included in service prices. Tips are appreciated but never required. The standard gratuity range in the massage industry is 15-20% for excellent service.

Packages and Memberships

Packages and membership credits:

  • Must be used within the specified expiration period
  • Are non-refundable once purchased
  • Cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions unless specified
  • Are non-transferable unless explicitly stated

Refund Policy

Service Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with your service:

  • Please inform us immediately during or after your session
  • We will make every effort to address your concerns
  • We may offer to reschedule with a different therapist
  • Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

Refunds are not available for:

  • Services already completed
  • Late arrivals or early departures
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of appointment
  • Gift cards or packages (except as required by law)

Gift Cards and Certificates

Gift cards and certificates are:

  • Valid for 12 months from date of purchase
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable for cash
  • Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen
  • Subject to Nevada state laws regarding gift cards

Health and Safety

Health Disclosure

For your safety and the effectiveness of your treatment, you must disclose:

  • Any medical conditions or health concerns
  • Current medications or treatments
  • Recent surgeries or injuries
  • Pregnancy or possibility of pregnancy
  • Allergies (especially to oils, lotions, or stones)
  • Any areas you want the therapist to avoid

Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in termination of your session without refund and could pose health risks.

Contraindications

Massage therapy may not be appropriate for individuals with certain conditions. Please consult your physician before booking if you have:

  • Acute infections or fever
  • Recent fractures or severe sprains
  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • Blood clots or history of thrombosis
  • Severe osteoporosis
  • Active cancer (without physician approval)
  • Skin conditions or open wounds

COVID-19 and Illness Policy

For the health and safety of all clients and staff:

  • Do not visit if you have symptoms of illness (fever, cough, etc.)
  • Reschedule if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or other contagious illness
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if you appear ill
  • Our facility follows enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols

Clients who cancel due to illness within 24 hours will not be charged if they provide notice before their appointment time.

Conduct and Behavior

Professional Environment

We maintain a professional, respectful environment. Clients must:

  • Treat staff and other clients with respect
  • Maintain appropriate behavior and language
  • Follow facility rules and therapist instructions
  • Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Keep noise to a minimum to respect others' relaxation

Zero Tolerance Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior
  • Verbal or physical abuse toward staff
  • Discrimination or hate speech
  • Theft or property damage
  • Being under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol

Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of service without refund and permanent ban from our facility. Law enforcement may be contacted if necessary.

Respect for Therapists

Our massage therapists are licensed professionals. During your session:

  • Communicate your pressure preferences and comfort level
  • Inform your therapist of any discomfort immediately
  • Maintain appropriate draping at all times
  • Respect your therapist's professional boundaries

Liability and Disclaimers

Assumption of Risk

By receiving massage therapy services, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Massage therapy may cause temporary discomfort or soreness
  • You have disclosed all relevant health information
  • You are responsible for informing your therapist of any discomfort during the session
  • Results may vary and are not guaranteed

Not Medical Treatment

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care. Our therapists:

  • Do not diagnose medical conditions
  • Do not prescribe medications or medical treatments
  • Do not perform spinal manipulations or adjustments
  • Recommend consulting with your physician for medical concerns

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bua Thai Massage and its staff shall not be liable for:

  • Injuries resulting from undisclosed health conditions
  • Allergic reactions to oils, lotions, or materials (when properly disclosed)
  • Personal property loss, theft, or damage
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Personal Property

While we strive to maintain a secure facility:

  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
  • Please secure valuables or leave them in your vehicle
  • Lockers are provided for your convenience but are not guaranteed secure
  • Do not bring excessive valuables to your appointment

Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality of:

  • Your health information and intake forms
  • Your treatment history and preferences
  • Your contact and billing information

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Material changes will be communicated via email to clients with upcoming appointments.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
